Spring 2009

It looks like spring has officially sprung. The Western Australian climate really is the master of extremes. Only weeks ago we were wedged in a endless cycle of powerful storm fronts that brought plenty of rain and storm force winds. The past few weeks have seen rising mercury and a wealthy stack of blue sky days. The biggest surprise for the kite community has been the early arrival of the Fremantle doctor and our summer trade winds.

These welcome winds have quenched the thirst for kite community with plenty of kite action taking place up and down the coast.
